The Beyond Carbon team were appointed by the University of Exeter to be technical advisor on matters of Passivhaus and embodied carbon for this Passivhaus student residential scheme.

The work involved assessing tender submissions from bidding contractors/providers and advising the client on risks and unknowns within the tender information.
The University also appointed Beyond Carbon to provide Passivhaus and WLC technical oversight for all capital projects. This involved reviewing project team proposals against the ambitious targets set in the University’s sustainability design guide and providing feedback in terms of risks and opportunities.
